I play all types of jobs all over the place and have for 30 years. For example, I’ve played in bands at the Astrodome for the Astros, played in two or three operas with the Houston Grand Opera, and played a lot of Broadway shows over the years here. The last show I did was The Producers.

I’ve played backup for a ton of other big name artists like Tony Bennet, Ray Charles, Nancy Wilson and Sammy Davis Jr. Playing with this caliber of artist wasn’t possible early in my career because it takes time to earn those skills.
